					<description>Ok, I'll find a donation center.  But for some reason the last time I gave blood I had a reaction to the needle or something.  I had bumps and a rash on my arm for months!  Months.  But maybe I can convince myself to try again.</description>

					<description>I'm late replying to this post, but I just wanted to thank you for it.  I used to be a regular donor, then around 2000, the FDA decided that anyone who was military or a military dependent and had lived in western Europe between 1980 and 1990 (that's for Germany -- other countries have an even longer period) for 6 months or more may have eaten British beef (sold in the commissaries there) and therefore may be harboring mad cow disease.
